Orsi Academy is proud to present the ultimate beginner course in robotic surgery for general surgery!
The Basic Skills Course - General Surgery consists of a 2-Day course in robotic surgery focusing on hands-on training on animal cadaver tissue (chicken model) for general surgeons.
A basic technical skills curriculum, developed by the proficiency-based progression methodology. You will get trained in an objective, transparent & evidence-based way, resulting in a shorter learning curve.
What you will learn
- Develop basic robotic surgical skills, including suturing, knot tying, and dissection.
- Apply a proficiency-based training methodology to prepare for procedural practice in robotic general surgery
- Perform an intracorporeal anastomosis by robotic stapling or hand-swen and dissection tasks in a standardized way
