General info
Orsi Academy offers a 2-day course in Robotic Low Anterior Resection surgery for surgeons who want master the robotic surgery approach. With a strong focus on hands-on training, participants will optimize their technique through expert guidance and human cadaver lab sessions.
This 2-day course consists of:
- Hands-on training on human cadaver tissue, isolated organic models and theoretical sessions at Orsi Academy
What you will learn
- To comprehensively cover the robotic technique in Low anterior resection
- Good understanding of the robotic port placement
- Overview of the procedure related robotic instruments
- Improvement of dissection skills to facilitate the mobilization and ligation steps within the procedure
- Optimizing anastomosis technique – hand-sewn versus robotic stapled
