This week, Medtronic is organizing a 2-day ENT masterclass for over 80 participants. Yesterday there were high class lectures given by an international faculty. Topics like 'Endoscopic Surgery for Maxillary Sinus Lesions', 'Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery' and 'Treatment of Orbital Tumors' were discussed. Today is day 2 of the masterclass, meaning hands-on training on human skulls. The surgeons are performing (CT-like image guided) sinuscopy in different approaches (transsellar, transplatum, transpterygoid,...). All CT-like images were shot with our own Discovery system by GE Healthcare.
