Earlier this year, MicroPort®’s leadership explored Orsi Academy’s state-of-the-art facilities, recognizing a shared vision for refining best practices in minimally invasive surgery.

Looking ahead, the next decade promises to bring even more profound changes in robotic surgery than the past century has witnessed. To maintain healthcare standards that are safe, objective and evidence-based, high-quality robotic training is essential for ensuring surgeon to proficiency and maintaining patient safety. While robotic surgery offers immense potential to revolutionize healthcare, as well as telesurgery and tele-mentoring, it is important to remember that technology alone isn’t enough – proper training is key!
