3 days a week

Internal trainings where the fellow is a trainee and is attending the following courses:

  • Technical training da Vinci Intuitive
  • Technical training Hugo RAS Medtronic
  • Procedural course for RARP
  • Procedural course for RAPN
  • Training on other robotic platforms
  • Train-the-trainer course learning the Proficiency-based Progression methodology

Official Orsi trainer after performing and successfully completing the internal trainings of:

  • Orsi Basic Skills Course
  • CC-ERUS courses (RARP and RAPN)
  • Medtronic Hugo RAS procedural training

Scientific activities and research projects:

  • Research on training and education
  • Metric development and validation for surgical procedures
  • Clinical research
  • Surgical AI

The fellowship at OLV Hospital

2 days a week

Oncological procedures in the OR:

  • Robot-assisted Radical Prostatectomy
  • Robot-assisted Cystectomy
  • Robot-assisted Radical and Partial Nephrectomy
  • Robot-assisted Reconstructive Surgery

The fellowship at AZORG/Orsi has been transformative for my professional growth. The hands-on experience and exposure to cutting-edge techniques have significantly enhanced my surgical skills. The rigorous curriculum, coupled with mentorship from experts, has provided a solid foundation for my career in minimally invasive urological surgery.

It is a unique environment for growth & learning. The journey may be intense, but the knowledge gained and the connections forged will undoubtedly shape a successful and fulfilling career in urological surgery.
