Marieke is a veterinarian who is responsible for the anesthesiology of the lab animals.
Marieke studied Veterinary Medicine and graduated from the Ghent University in 2011. At the veterinary faculty she did an internship in medical imaging followed by two years of work in practice. After this experience as a clinician, she obtained her degree in Teaching & Education and worked as a science teacher for several years.
With this combined knowledge, she joined the Orsi team as an anesthesiologist and and became a leading lady for the team in the lab.
